How to Fix Last line no longer available on iPhone XS Max/XR
Here are steps to fix your “Last line no longer available” on your iPhone:
- Check the new update
You can check for updates by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
- Clear call logs
Clear your call logs by going to Phone App > Recents > tap Edit > clear > tap on “Clear All Recents”. Note: this step will delete all your call logs. So back up before deleting anything.
- Restart the device
For iPhone 8 and older models:
1) Press and hold the on/off button until you get the slider “slide to power off”.
2) turn off the iPhone or iPad by sliding.
3) Wait a few seconds till the phone is fully turned OFF.
4) Now turn ON your device
For iPhone x and later models:
1) Press and hold the on/off button and volume button until you get the slider “slide to power off”.
2) turn off the iPhone or iPad by sliding.
3) Wait a few seconds till the phone is fully turned OFF.
4) Now turn ON your device - Reset network settings
Resetting your network settings will remove any software issue. Go to Settings> General> Reset> Reset network settings.
- Force reset your iPhone
On an iPhone X or later: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Then press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Finally, press and hold the Side button until you see the recovery-mode screen or Apple logo.
On an iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Then press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Finally, press and hold the Side button until you see the recovery-mode screen or Apple logo.
On an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold both the power side and Volume Down buttons at the same time. Keep holding them until you see the recovery-mode screen or Apple logo.
On an iPhone 6s or iPhone 5s and earlier, iPad, or iPod touch: Press and hold both the Home and the Top (or Side) buttons at the same time. Keep holding them until you see the recovery-mode screen or Apple logo.
