Apple hosted its biggest virtual event of 2020 on 13th Oct where it launched the iPhone 12 series, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro max. iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini are available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB models in Blue, Green, Black, White, and (PRODUCT) RED colors, starting at Rs 79,900 and Rs 69,900. The all-new iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max is available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models in Graphite, Silver, Gold, and Pacific Blue colors starting at Rs 119,900 and Rs 129,900
12 is the first iPhone series to support 5G connectivity, with an edge-to-edge Super Retina XDR display, an advanced dual-camera system, and a brand new ‘Ceramic Shield’ front cover for increased durability across the entire lineup. There is support for mmWave 5G (superfast 5G network) in the United States exclusively, and support for sub-6GHz 5G in India and other countries as well as the US. Sub-6Hz 5G is slower but more widespread.
The iPhone 12 series features a flat-edged design similar to iPhone 4 and 5. iPhone 12 mini is the smaller version of the new iPhone with a 5.4 inch OLED display, whereas Pro max features a 6.7-inch screen.
iPhone 12 features a dual-camera setup with wide and ultra-wide lenses, whereas pro and pro max have a triple-lens camera with a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide lens. Apple is charging Rs 10 per Dollar for its iPhone 12 series in India. As, iPhone 12 which costs 799$ in the U.S., costs Rs 79,900 in India (64 GB).
